A considered second-storey addition to a Mayfield heritage home, combining substantial structural upgrades with carefully detailed period design.
The project included strengthening the existing first floor to support a cantilevered deck, and the addition of an upper-level brick fireplace built on a new concrete hearth.
Recycled windows, original-style doors and recycled timber flooring were incorporated throughout, allowing the new work to sit naturally alongside the character of the existing home. The result is a carefully integrated heritage renovation that adds space and functionality while retaining the architectural character of the original Mayfield residence.
